So I swapped out the Fidelio for an old ‘dumb’ Denon stereo receiver and ‘dumb’ speakers i had in the garage.
I wondered if my Philips Fidelio was the problem, and rightly enough, it was!!! As it is a smart speaker, I wondered if it was taking extra time to process the signal. Now this may be where my solution may not suit your equipment… I tried and tried adjusting the delay on both CCA’s, but it never worked…. The CCA’s were always capable of playing to both sets of speakers at the same time, but were never in sync. The outbuilding gets it’s wifi from a Dovolo powerline adapter which is connected to cable in main house via ethernet cable. I have one CCA in the house plugged into an amp/speaker setup via a 3.5mm -> stereo phono splitter cable, and one CCA plugged into a powered Philips Fildelio smart speaker via a 3.5mm jackplug in an outbuilding.
